La capital d’Ucraïna, Kíev, continua sota control del govern ucraïnès. Aquesta nit hi ha hagut importants combats en alguns carrers de la ciutat i un llançament constant de míssils contra edificis.
Tot i que la majoria de míssils eren dirigits a seus institucionals del centre de la ciutat, alguns han caigut en zones residencials, fet que ha causat la destrucció de blocs de pisos i corredisses de la població:
