‘Free Catalonia-Catalunya Lliure’, a campaign to divulge the national rights of Catalonia during the Cultural Forum ’04, lasting from May to September 2004, is introduced in Barcelona today, April 22. The aim of the campaign is to acquaint the millions of people from all over the world that will visit Barcelona on account of the Forum with the existence of Catalonia and its culture, and with the problems it has to meet to develop as a cultural and political nation in its own right. Many important Catalan personalities and organizations back a campaign, that Barcelona and Catalan authorities should have rendered unnecessary.
