The best way to get to the Mobile World Congress is on public transportation, and the GSMA is offering MWC14 visitors a free pass, available at the transport pass desk. The main exhibition halls are located in the Fira Gran Via site just south of Barcelona in the town of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.

To get there, visitors can take regular green or red Barcelona Metro lines to Plaça Espanya and then change to the FGC Metro to Plaça Europa. They can also pick up the 79 bus in Plaça Espanya.

Or take the H12 bus, which has many stops along the Gran Via in central Barcelona, including Plaça Universitat, all the way to Plaça Europa.

Either way, visitors can use the GSMA pass (or any T-1 or T-10 metro card).

Barcelona’s transportation system includes two kinds of metro (the regular lines and the FGC lines) as well as a ample selection of bus routes. The GSMA pass is good for all of these. You can consult the Barcelona Transport System (TMB) online, or download the app for iOS or Android.

TMB offers a special page for Mobile World Congress visitors.

A few events will also be held at the Fira Montjuïc exhibition halls in Plaça Espanya. These are easily accessible on the green and red metro lines.
