Mobile World Centre launches a new lineup with temporary and themed exhibitions, which will allow visitors to find out about artistic and technological innovations and participate in creative processes. This new format is based around interaction and direct participation among creators, citizens, and industry. Would you like to participate?

The first thematic feature, organized in collaboration with Alpha-ville, is Music and Arts, which may be visited starting 21 October. This experience will boast a central exhibit entitled “New Realities,” and a program of parallel activities comprised of seminars on Art and Music, audiovisual concerts and workshops for children, to teach them music via mobile devices, led by professional musicians (Toc&Roll workshops).

Moreover, this feature will include cooperation with the Beefeater In-Edit International Film Festival, which will place its professional area –In-Edit Fast-Forward– at the Mobile World Centre so that technological companies with projects linked to the Music and Audiovisual sectors can share them with the public, live.

Art and Digital Culture will play an important role in the program, with the aim of promoting interaction between viewers and new forms of artistic expression characterized by technological advances. Music and Arts will also feature a lineup listing some of the today’s most innovative digital artists, like Mar Canet and Varvara Gulijaveva, Universal Everything and Ryoichi Kurokawa.

But this is just the beginning. Starting on december, Mobile World Centre will host a new exhibit in which visitors will experience the latest developments in the world of Gaming. Each themed feature will include participation by leaders in the sector, who will propose creative challenges for citizens and the industry to experience mobile transformation. Are you going to miss it?
