L'anglofília que ens envaeix després del tancament d'Opening (i tantes d'altres) ha invertit la tendència. Els verbívors hem detectat que en aquests temps de temença el català comença a emetre els seus missatges vers l'anglès, de manera que moltes de les frases fetes més genuïnes de la nostra llengua comencen a trobar el seu equivalent literal en la llengua de Shakespeare. Per exemple, quan l'espectacle que donem és excessiu, diuen "there is to rent chairs" o quan algú fa anar la fantasia li diuen "you make fly pigeons" en referència als coloms voladors tan nostrats. Ho traduïm "for if the flies" (per si les mosques) i considerem que aquest fòrum pot "make dance your heads" (fer-vos ballar el cap). Per tant, esperem les vostres col·laboracions amb "little candles". Us demanem, doncs, més proves de la influència catalana en el nou anglès. "Sissy the last". Com sempre, la millor aportació de la setmana rebrà un exemplar d'un llibre verbívor recomanat.
