The Lady Gaga Phenomenon

The queen of social networking

The voice of the 'freaks'

The origin of the name Lady Gaga

dimarts, 14 de desembre de 2010
Outlandish, provocative, controversial, rebellious. These are just some of the terms used to describe the Italian-American singer Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better known as Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga has become the new queen of pop, and some already compare her with Madonna (also of Italian descent), the great music industry icon of the 1980s and 90s.

All of this is after just two records: 'The Fame' (2008) and 'The Fame Monster' (2009). Hits from the first album include 'Just Dance' and 'Poker Face', while 'Bad Romance' and 'Telephone' are from the second.

Aside from her musical talent, Lady Gaga's success is also due to her onstage mastery. Her concerts, such as the one last week at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, are a veritable show, with constant set and costume changes.
