Clàudia Pujol: “the knowledge that the world has of Catalonia is very limited”

Clàudia Pujol is the director of Sàpiens, the most read history magazine in Catalonia, and indeed the most read magazine on any topic in Catalan. In December, Pujol and her team at Sàpiens decided that at “key moment in our recent history, the knowledge that the world has of Catalonia is very limited”. So they published a book, called Catalonia Calling: The World Must Know, and asked people to help finance sending copies of the book to the 10,000 most influential people in the world. The campaign was wildly successful and they ended up sending more than 14,000 copies of the book in five languages—English, French, German, Catalan and Spanish.
