This is the first in a series of Twitter-based chats with interesting Catalan activists, politicians, writers, academics, artists, and scientists, in English (with translations, see below).

Our first interviewee, on Jan 2, was Ferran Civit i Martí, logistical coordinator of the Catalan Way, and member of the National Board of the Catalan National Assembly.

Spanish, Catalan, French, and German translations are available, thanks to translators Rodolf Gimeno, Esther Roig, Patrick Roca Batista, and Monika Ferré Jordà, respectively.

You can also follow #CatalanTalk interviews live on Twitter in EnglishSpanishCatalanFrench, and German.

Our next interview is Jan 9 at 16h Barcelona time (GMT+1). We will be talking to bestselling writer Gemma Lienas, who has also just opened a gourmet chocolate shop in Barcelona. Upcoming interviews include Oriol Junqueras, president of ERC, Isona Passola, film producer and director, Jaume Cabré, novelist, and more.
